What is a MAYO Sprint?

Sprints are where people can come together to help work on projects.
Whether you are religious or not, you can come to sing, dance, code, paint,
write or even crunch numbers. Everyone is welcome to come and have fun!
You don’t have to be an expert, there is plenty of help along the way.


Below is a brief summary of activities being run:

Service Morning March 22, 2018 - 9:45am

Come and visit the elderly at Monash Gardens. We will be going to Monash Gardens, near Mazenod College. This gives people an opportunity to do something for their community. If you play a musical instrument please bring it along. Find out more here.

Risen Retreat 2018 Term 1 March 22, 2018 - 9:43am

This day is dedicated to community and reflecting on Easter. For years 7-12 feel free to come for as much as you can. There will be talks, games, Mass, prayer and free time.

Today we focused once again on webdev and planning for the next term. We have created the document necessary for us to begin the transition from Alpha into MAYO formation. Book summaries have been furthered particularly Kreet's Summa of the Summa and Sri's Bible Compass. With a small group we did achieve alot.

The Divine Mercy image is a depiction of Jesus based on a vision Saint Faustina Kowalska had. "I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish," Jesus told Faustina, according to her diary, which has been studied and authenticated by the Church over several decades. "I also promise victory over enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I myself will defend it as My own glory." (Diary of Faustina, 48)
